I have been living in this black crop top from Zara! I've worn it with overalls, jeans, even on the couch on a hot day (since we have had so many here in LA lately!) It's the first off the shoulder crop top that I've found that actually holds "everything" up! I am all about comfort in fashion and will rarely wear things that I am not totally comfortable in, and this is definitely a "buy in different colors" item. There are also a few other comfy tops that I have ben wearing nonstop. They are having a huge summer sale, check it out!

Date Night

For the most part, G and I are totally creatures of comfort and we like winding down after a long day with Netflix or making dinner at home. BUT occasionally we try and sneak in a weekday date night to keep things fun! There's nothing like coming home from work to the couch, believe me - but knowing that you're gonna have a special night out and a reason to dress up really makes your day and sometimes even your whole week just a lil better! Some of our favorite things to do on date night include sushi, catching a matinee, going for a hike and enjoying the view at the top with some snacks, or even just grabbing some desert. We definitely will try bowling (on a weeknight!) sometime in the near future ;) I love dating my hubby and I hope these weekday date nights never end - even when we have a tiny human to take care of!

*Special thanks to Shein for this gorgeous top, which I will be wearing all of summer and on many date nights! :)

Spring Colors

I love blush tones lately which is a huge change from my usual black/grey! One of my favorite parts of Spring is that the nights are warm enough for walks and enjoying being outdoors without melting or freezing (sorry, drama because I am a California girl!) I also particularly have been enjoying that I can wear a cardigan pretty much all day from morning til night because I am alllllll about the old man cardigan life! Also, this blush bag was less than $20 from Forever 21 and I've been using it often as opposed to my giant Mary Poppins bag - which my shoulders are grateful for!

Hats Off

If you know me or have been following me on social media you know I LOVE hats. I own way too many but I just love the way a hat can change an outfit! As a kid I loved wearing hats and beanies and that has clearly transitioned into adulthood for me. :) Below are some of my favorite hats that I own, as well some others that are similar!
