Monochrome with Two Feathers

I know, it's almost Labor Day and I cannot stop wearing white......you guessed it, more white to come whenever I feel like it :) As the evenings get slightly cooler i've found myself reaching for a light jacket or cardigan and this black blazer is perfect for fancy-ing up an outfit! I like it with a crop underneath or just tied up as a shirt (feels like sneaking pajamas into a date night). I also have been wearing these Reformation crop jeans pretty frequently and saw that they are ON SALE!

Details below on this Two Feathers blazer from their Fall collection - I can already tell you i'll be wearing it to work and play.

Fall Booties

I know we have a whole month left of Summer but i've (per usual) got Fall on the brain! I recently purchased these Free People booties after eyeing them for months and it's safe to say I'm in love. They're super comfortable and go with pretty much anything, particularly dresses at the moment but I can't wait to wear them with jeans! It did take a few hours to break them in but now they are on repeat! My good friend Kristin sent me some REALLY cute shoes the other day as well so I perused Free People's site for far too long and decided to share. I've linked them and a few other cute booties below!

Summer Whites

Since I am going back to work this week, G and I decided to have a few last summer day dates! Malibu Creek State Park is a favorite of ours although we have been avoiding it because of how hot it's been. I cannot wait for Fall to come again so we can hike whenever we want to! This dress is seriously the most comfortable and perfect long length for bike riding through the park (although I wouldn't recommend it in 89 degree weather!) While I am super excited for the changing seasons, I am trying to pace myself and allow myself to soak up and appreciate summer! I know how fortunate I am to have this free time to help with our business, have coffee in my pjs at 8 am, and just work on projects that I care about because i've got some free time. I hope you are all enjoying your summer, whether you are off of work or not!

All White Museum Night

G and I went to one of our favorite local museums on Friday night, the Norton Simon. It's located in Pasadena and I absolutely love it. I've been coming here since I was a teenager (thanks mom and dad for instilling a love of art in me!) The museum is free and it stays open until 8 a few times a month! I totally recommend it. We also really just love Pasadena in general and one of our favorite Italian places is there too! I typically love hole in the wall spots but Il Forniao is just so yummy. I'm not a pizza gal (GASP! iiii know!) but the margherita pizza is quite delicious! G also loves pretty much every single one of their pasta dishes. Old Town is very walkable so once you're done stuffing your face is nice to explore! The shoes i'm wearing below are extremely comfy, by the way :)

Gingham and Gloom

The weather has been super weird since I got back from Mexico! It will be super hot and sunny one minute and then ridiculously humid and hot the next. The other morning when I took Luna out for a run it started raining! Weirdddd! Anyway, I've been trying to wear looser clothing and definitely more comfortable since it's been so hot (aka shorts and a giant T) but I couldn't help and dress up when we went out for dinner the other night! I have linked all details below :)

This dress is from Shein * and I have been trying to find the perfect loose fitting but still flattering gingham dress for summer, safe to say this one fit the bill!

I brought this bag to Cabo and it's definitely more of a beach/picnic or park bag and actually fits quite a bit of stuff! On the beach in Mexico I definitely had it in sand and near water and none of it gone inside! It has a tiny pocket for your phone or cards. Plus I squished it into my suitcase expecting it to be all floppy afterwards but all is still good minus one sad pom pom :)

Lastly, I have to give a shoutout to these extremely comfortable shoes that got me through an entire night of dancing, frolicking, and cobblestone walking in Cabo without a single blister, red mark, or any discomfort. I seriously have a hard time wearing certain shoes and they are taller than your average block heel but I would 10/10 recommend! Oh, and did I mention they're from TARGET??
