Cropped Trousers

Cropped trousers are having a major moment right now and I am ON BOARD. I love both denim and looser-fit ones and found these Zara ones a few weeks ago and couldn't pass them up. They also come in different colors and I think they will be perfect with a cozy sweater once it gets cooler :) Something about them makes me feel pretty "girl boss"-like, and I'm diggin' it! Links below!

Mules and a Mary Poppins Bag

I love mules, as you might know if you've been following along for longer than a week ;) I definitely have tried a few pairs but have honestly found these Target ones to be my absolute affordable favorite! They are super cute with jeans, dresses, shorts, you name it. Even though my husband bought me my dream pair of mules, I plan on saving them for special occasions and rocking these really comfortable ones for work!

This bag is also perfect for my to and from school and fits my lunch, agenda, etc. I absolutely love the tan color and find it perfect for fall :)

Cardi Party

Fall is around the corner and I sure love me some grandpa cardigans! Last year, during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale I bought a loose fitting Topshop cardigan (here) that I loved and wore pretty much every other day until it was too warm to wear! When I found another cardigan from Topshop this year (here), I couldn't help but grabbing it! It's sold out currently but I listed a few similar ones below :) I love the look of a cardigan paired with a skirt, jeans, sweats, a dress - pretty much everything - especially here in Southern California where our winters aren't quite as chilly and a cardigan really can keep you quite warm!

Skirt: similar Urban Outfitters. Shoes: TopshopTank: Zara

I own this cardigan in 2 colors! So comfy!

Love this Madewell one

Love the ombre look of this one by Silence + Noise!

Floral and Fresh

I recently realized that I love long vests and kimonos (or as I like to call them - daytime robes :) ) Kimonos are a great piece to pull together a simple outfit for work, date night, etc.  I definitely like the kimono below with jeans, dresses, and even shorts (it has slits on the side so it's definitely airy and not super thick which I appreciate during this heatwave! Plus this pattern would also be cute at the pool or as a cover up - comes with a belt. I felt like hoppin' on a plane to somewhere tropical all day for sure. Details below!

ps - heatwave hair don't care life this week!

Kimono: c/o Shein Jeans: Old Navy (suuuuper comfy and on sale!) Shoes: similar here

Monochrome with Two Feathers

I know, it's almost Labor Day and I cannot stop wearing white......you guessed it, more white to come whenever I feel like it :) As the evenings get slightly cooler i've found myself reaching for a light jacket or cardigan and this black blazer is perfect for fancy-ing up an outfit! I like it with a crop underneath or just tied up as a shirt (feels like sneaking pajamas into a date night). I also have been wearing these Reformation crop jeans pretty frequently and saw that they are ON SALE!

Details below on this Two Feathers blazer from their Fall collection - I can already tell you i'll be wearing it to work and play.
